I presently own a 1958 evinrude 18hp twin. Can someone tell me where the high and low speed jets should be set.(ie..How many turns each should be backed out)?
I have this very same motor and find that setting them at 1(high) to 1 1/2(idle)turns out works fine. Then run it and fine tune them. After fine tuning them I readjust for they are dead center.
