Ha-Ha-Ha! make me laugh! Spare tilt/trim? Ho-Ho-Ho! Tilt/trim units are always in the water and tend to corrode. They are probably the most failure prone part of the engines. Any Chrysler or Force T/T will fit as long as it is prior to Mercury redesign (about 1992)

Seriously, If you are a die-hard Chrysler nut. Go to The Chrysler Crew. Join. You can also enter the chat room at 9Pm Thurs. Nights Eastern time.

You will want to talk to Dave and Franz. Both are avid Chrysler products users. Franz was a chrysler marine dealer.

AND---I firmly believe that if Chrysler had not gotten into trouble in the 80s, they would not have been forced to divest their marine division and you would still see very competitive Chrysler outboards.

Me? I'm a piker. I only have about 20 Chrysler and Force engines of various sizes and years. No Chrysler boats though. I'm partial to Glastron. Nothing wrong with Chrysler boats--They were originally Lone Star and were tough, durable and good-looking.
