First Robin

Seen my first Robin of the year on the way home today. 76 degrees along the muddy banks of the Mighty Ohio today. What a great way to end the day.....almost....got a few Bud Longnecks to do yet. But the Robin gave me hope that Spring is almost here and days of warm weather are almost upon us. <br /><br />The Bummer side.....rain mixed with snow sometime during next week. Man....that does suck!<br /><br />Think I'll do a Longneck.

OBJ, I have had them here for about 2 weeks now at my bird feeder.

The first flock of the year of sandhill cranes headed north passed over The Hideout yesterday, and one of my plum trees bloomed this morning.<br /><br />Rejoice!!

LOL!!!! You ol'boys down there really tickle my inards!!!! Heck...I won't even think about AC for another two months.<br /><br />Spinner....me and yous gotta git together and go down there and see how those folk live....we gotta be doin' somethin wrong!! Fish year round, cold stuff year round, boatin' year round.<br /><br />Jist ain't no justice for us folk up north...

OBJ there was about a hundred red robbins in the yard the other day cleaning out the left over worms. <br />I told them to go on up to spinners that he had some food out <br />already had the boat in the water twice

Mr. Bluebird's on my shoulder... how does that song go? anyway, bluebirds out and killdeer already nesting. Wildflowers are all over the hillsides. Spring is here, if it doesn't freeze anymore. Always possible. <br />Bassy

I woke up to 9 inches of fresh snow on Friday morning.

Good possibility it will be me in two weeks on the lake. If this weather keeps up. Boy, its sure beautiful. I'm dusting off the shorts and tank tops today. You never know about that bikini. <br />Bassy
