Newbie here with a 1994 40hp Force OEO41306

Got these prices from a local marina that still carries Force parts:

Water pump kit 58.70
Thermostat 14.15
Head gasket 25.00

Looked around the net for Force parts but every time I find someone listing parts for a 40hp Force-the year starts in 1995 (as if Force didn't have pre 1995 40hps). Or if they show the 94-they don't list cooling parts. Any suggestions? Are these prices worth it since I won't have to pay shipping?

Steve the parts and prices that you have listed are probably close to being in that range. Might be able to get them a little cheaper trough aftermarket but won't be a whole lot of difference in price

Just one place that has all of the parts for your engine online is stemtostern.com. The head gasket from them is about $17. There may be cheaper sources out there, but stemtostern always has the Force parts one needs.
