First time floor replacement

I just bought my first boat (16ft Crestliner Admiral) and I immediately tore out the old, rotted floor. Two questions:
First, under the floor was lots of foam type material (soaked with water!)that I removed. Do I need to put some back in, and if so what kind of foam?

Second, I have water seepage from 4 rivets on the very bottom of the boat. How can I seal them up before I lay the floor?

Thanks for any info!

No floor. Put a deck in it. Boats have decks.

Yes, definately a deck. It's a 1975 Crestliner. I guess I really didn't know if the foam was for flotation, sound deadning, or floor support, so I wasn't sure what to replace it with.

On a rare occasion, some fiberglass boats use the foam for structural support. I haven't heard of any alum boat needing it for anything but floatation. The pink sheets will do fine, or none if you wish to risk it.
