This is our first boat, we had it out a few times last summer and then put it in the garage for the winter.
We knew the hull would need some repairs and after looking around, I've decided this forum is the best place to get some help.

I know I*'m going to have to do a fair bit of Gel Coat repair, my biggest concern is On pictures 1,2 and 6. I'm pretty sure the fiberglass is completely broken. The longest stretch is probably about 4-6 inches. I can't really get to the back of them to do the repairs properly.
Can I just sand down and lay fiberglass over the damaged area?
Anything else I should do?
Do you have suggested products I should use?

The boat is a 1995 Glasstream SE185.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

First step is to get a chip fiberglass sample and have a quart of gell coat made up collor matched or if you are an expert at paint mixing you can match it up yourself. Those nicks can be filled first with thickened gel coat, then sanded and a top finish gelcoat can be sprayed and blended. You could use a marine filler, I prefer gelcoat, the color is solid throughout. dont forget the prep work and cleaning in the gouges to insure a good bond.
