First tune up.

This is the first time I doing a tune on this boat (my first boat). I have a mag 454 alpha 1 with the TB IV ignition. I can't seem to be able to remove the rotor. Am I missing something?

It should just pull off along with the metal sensor ring.

Did the new rotor come with a new sensor ring ?

If it did you may have to break the old rotor off. Just be very carefull not to damage the pick-up sensor (the part the ring sensor passes thru).
