Ahoy fellow boaters, I'm looking to replace my fish finder I have been running an eagle ultra classic and now the screen has begin to wash out and the transducer is shot. I am ready to replace but so many choices and prices. I want all the same features as my eagle but don't want to spend a fortune. I want a volt gauge, speedo, fish finder. any suggestions would be great. I'm more of a pulling the kids on a tube and the occasional fisherman, that's about it. I have no gauges on the boat so the fish finder is it. Please help before I spend way too much, or not enough and don't get what I need.

Re: fish finder replacement

I have this except a 728. I forget what the difference was between the 718 and 728. I would verify that it has a volt gauge. My 728 does. I like it. I have a Eagle Ultra too. I use that on the bow with the transducer connected to the trolling motor. My transducer was shot too and I found a unit on e-bay and just used the 'ducer. Sure is nice to have 2 units.

This would be ideal for the price if you wanted a bow mount too.
