hello everyone, I have a question, or should I say i need some expert experience. I plan on buying a second fish finder for on my pontoon, the one I have my eye on is the Hummingbird 570 sonar, does anyone have this sonar or know of anyone that has it and if you or they like it, is it worth the money, or which one would you prefer. the price is about 219.00 bucks and thats about all I want to spend.

thank you Jack

Re: fish finder

I didn't know they still made the 700 series Humminbird. I bought a 728 a couple years ago. I forget the slight difference between that and the 718. I must say, I REALLY like it.......

Re: fish finder

I have 2 570's and I like them alot. I just upgraded the one at the console to the 597ci HD DI (for the GPS mostly) but I am a hummingbird fan and the 570 is a great starter unit (so are the piranha max's as well) a couple of nice features are the screen size and the switchfire. No doubt you would like the unit (not complicated to use either). Good luck
