fishfinder plus tech

1982 mercruiser 120 well when i start my boat with the fishfinder off the rpms are ok but when i turn on my fish the tech stays at 5 to 6 then at adle its at 3500 to 4500 rpm

What circuit do you have the fish finder wired into? Is it going to it's own, or wired into the gauge cluster.

Check all your connections. Is it possible your transducer cable is wrapped around the send wire from the tach?

no the fish connects to the batt no switch no nothing just 2 wires one + and one - but some how it interfaring with my tech
