fishfinder problem...

i have humminbird matrix 17. when i power unit up,the graphic do not display on the screen,just what i see ,is a light for a moment (1sec.) i do not hear any beep sound like was before.any ideas what wrong . thank you guys.

First determine that you have a solid 12+ volts and a quality ground going to the unit. Sounds like you have a bad or corroded connection.

Then try pressing the power button briefly and adjust the contrast up or down.
