As of this writing the north eastern seaboad from Cape Cod to the Canadian border is closed to commercial fishing to what is known as rolling closers. They will begin to open once again in May.
The recreational fishing at Yankee Capt's has begun and they are getting plenty of haddock, weather permitting.
By the middle of May the big stripers should be coming with the big schools of mackeral. Anybody coming this way should wait to the end of May or early June.
