Hi guys, it's glyn the virgin boater again. i need to help my old hands (that includes my wife) with anchore, i want to fit a windlass. question 1. can you reccommend the best model for rope and chain use? question 2. does the fore deck need re-enforcing before fitting? the boat is year 2000 fitted with a 5.7 mercruiser and is used in the english channel (south coast) and can get quite rough with strong currents as well as wind.
