My boat is a 1996 Regal with a 4.3 cobra SX. I have a broken hydraulic fitting on the power steering cylinder. It's the larger of two small fittings for the hydraulic lines. The Evinrude part number for this is 3853994. That would be a fitting and and O-ring. The Evinrude website shows this part as no longer available. A local dealer said he could order this for me from Volvo. It seems as though the original Evinrude part is no longer available, but the part is available through Volvo "at a price" which could be ridiculous. Can anyone give me some guidance where I can get this part at a reasonable price?
