hi,

i was just looking at the rawhide sales page (on ebay) and thought about all the people on here who like to do restores for the fun of it ????? LOL :eek:

so here is a place to find boats in need of some (alot ?) tlc..... so if your close to wisconsin and looking for a boat project here ya go ;)

i always check back and see if anything catch's my eye or might be a FUN TOY.....

Here's a place for the southeast- It's a donor collection point. Go to "other"-"project boats". I've walked the place there's at least 400 or more boats/hulls here.

Ha! Somewhere in that lot is a 15' Chapparal that I "traded" them for my current hull. I paid them $300 for the new hull and they let me drop the Chapparal with the rotted floor, stringers, and transom. I figured it cost me less than restoring the Chapparal and saved me the hassle of disposing of the hull. Tread lightly with these folks. I think I got lucky with my YarCraft, because the vast majority of what they had in the back lot was junk and totally unprotected. Even the stuff they had on their front lot which is where they sell their serviceable boats was of questionable quality.
