For those in the US, you may not have heard of these wonderful uk boats. Lightening quick, deep v hulls and superbly built. So much so that when the company went bust, one of the reasons stated was that the problem was that their boats last so long, people weren't buying new ones !
Anyway, my father and I recently purchased a project one of these that had been in storage for years and thought a non runner.
Long story short, we got the engine running, new steering and trim pump, bit of trim and footering here and there and she is running like a champ. New prop yet to be tested, remove shabby anti foul from hull and the oil injection to disconnect.
We had planned to sell her, but so much care and attention, not to mention father-son bonding has gone into her, we are reluctant to. I'll try to upload a picture or two of the maiden sea trial....with my own boat as a back up....just in case. Would love to hear if any of these boats made it across the pond.
