float adjustment??

i'm in the process of cleaning out and rebuilding the 4 carbs on a 99 125 merc. i have bought all the gaskets, new floats and needles, and was wondering, do the new quicksilver floats usually come already adjusted from the factory, or do i have to mess with bending the tabs and setting them myself. and if so, what should the setting be for those carburators. <br /><br />thanks

I've never heard of floats being pre-adjusted, but then there are a lot of new things I've never heard of. If you are going to do your own work, you really need a manual. Mine don't cover those new engines.
