Float adjustment

Hello, I have an older merc 650 3 cyl....aprox 1972 vintage....I am going to replace the floats because they have been sticking. I will also be cleaning the carbs and installing new needles and seats. How do you adjust the float level? The float rides up and down on a pin in the float bowl, do you just adjust the lever on the needle and seat? If so can anyone please help me with the specs. Thanks Steve

All you have to do is bend the bracket where the pin goes through. If your replacing the float though, you shouldn't have to adjust anything. If you do your rebuild kit should come with a paper that tells you where it should be.
