Float bowl running dry

I have a 1965 Kiekhaefer Mercury 7.5hp. It runs well but keeps running out of fuel at idle. It stalls, I pump the bulb once and can hear the bowl fill up, it then runs fine for a few minutes then stalls again. It doesn't do this at higher RPM's. The tank is vented, new hose, and I have just replaced the diaphragm and gaskets. The float height is correct, carb has been checked and cleaned. Any ideas?

Check for good strong pulse from pulse port<br />May be plugged There is a slim chance it is sucking air somewhere along the gas line. Check all connections and connectors carefully.Check <br />output to carb from pump.
