float for 57 johnson 18 hp

Could anyone tell me what the part # is for the Float w/ needle and seat? I think my float might be fuel logged or just isn't working right to shut off the little needle valve. I know that there isn't any spring as far as the float is concerned with this carb model so I figured I would replace the float to make sure the float is working right. Any help is appreciated!

Float is 396514 (new style alcohol-proof)
Needle & seat is 396522

You may want to just get a carb repair kit, 439071, which will include those parts and all the gaskets and packings. These are dealer items.

is there anywhere that may have a new complete carb for this motor? I have tried to find one and haven't had any luck. I have done the whole carb kit already and it didn't have the float in it?

I would try Seaway Marine, up in Seattle, WA. They seem to have a good inventory on older parts.

Also any OMC dealer can order it for you. It's not discontinued or hard to get in any way. They just won't likely be able or willing to look it up for you.
