float lever adjustment!?!

20190429_130945.jpg I know i have asked about this recently but just wanted to be 1000% clear on it as the float levers need to be spot on. do i take my measurement from #1 or #2 in the picture i have attached. thank you!!

Nr.1, Nr.2 is just a lip to seal against the bowl. When set the lever should be parallel to the casting.

i meant where do i take the measurement of 13/32'' from. #1 or #2?

thought so. its just hard to match it up with a rule at such a distance. is the shoulder were the needle and seat screw into at the same height as the gasket surface?

Make the upper float lever level with the carb body. It would be number 2 in your photo. Of course, with a gasket on that carb cover, both surfaces are the same.

If you are off a bit, don't sweat it.

Chris1956. That definitely helps. I was just measuring the difference between 1 and 2 and subtracting the little difference between them. But I will use this method to make sure I'm dead on. Thank you guys again!!
