AAAAAHHHH! It happened again.1985 yam 115 etlk.Top carb would overflow run down into bottom carb run bad, you get the picture.Cleaned carbs twice, rebuilt carbs once then everything was cool. Was trying to check fuel pump for leakage, pumped the primer bulb and could feel it getting softer as I held pressure on it.Then, the lovely smell of gas and the wonderful sight of gas drippng off the carbs.I have new fuel lines, new fliter and am "resonably" sure that there is no crud in it.Wrong float level maybe? But if it is the float, wouldnt it flood all the time? And for that matter I couldnt see how to adjust it.Sorry for the long post but the more details the better

Re: flooding carb

Update on the flooding carb.Just started it and there was no gas running out of the top carb.Maybe I was squeezing the primer bulb to hard.

Re: flooding carb

Sounds like a float is sticking and not alowing the needle valve to close. Try tapping the sides of that float bowl with the handle end of a screwdriver, then pump up the bulb again. If that fixes it you'll need to go into that carb again and find out whats causing it to stick.

Good luck... Canuck 16.
