Floor covering choices

Has anyone used Line-x as a floor covering in their boat? I have a 76 open bow runabout that I'm going to replace the floor in and redo later on this year, and I've been kicking around the idea of having the floor covered with white Line-x. I figure it's waterproof, it'll provide good traction when wet, it's easy to clean, and the white color should keep it relatively cool for bare feet. The only drawback I can think of could be the extra weight. I have no idea what it weighs per sq.ft., but I'll look into it before I do it. Just looking for feedback. Thanks!

Re: Floor covering choices

I used Cabelas Tuff Coat on my deck. It's created specifically for boat decks. It has a rubbery texture so you won't slip when it's wet. I don't think Line-x is as grippy when wet.
I just applied it this weekend and so far am happy with the results. I think 3 coats is the minimum, 4 is preferable.
Here's the link to my restoration with some pics.
