I'm in the process of painting the interior of my aluminum boat, I'm concerned that the floor will be to slippery with just bare paint. I'm thinking of adding some fine sand to the paint for the floor. Anyone hear of such a thing?

Thanks

I used Evercoat rubberized Non-skid floor covering. It cost 40 something bucks for a gallon, and it works great. You will not slip, ever, and since it is rubberized, it does have good weather protection.

Sand works just fine. You paint an area, sprinkle sand lightly over the paint when wet and then go over it with a roller.
