Floorboard thickness

Hi all,<br />I'm replacing a floorboard on a 15 footer fiberglass with a 55 hp outboard motor. It has three stringer down the boat. What thickness should the floorboard plywood be? I hear 5/8 and .5 inch. Can I go lower than that? thanks.

I wouldn't go with anything less then 1/2 inch. It would sag on yea.
