Should have mentioned it is on a 1986 85 h.p. force, I did make sure the contact area behind rectifier was good and clean, when it happened after that I gently tapped on the gauge glass and it went back to the normal 1000 rpm. So I will pull dash panel and check connections, and if that doesn't cure it, a call to Faria for warranty.....As soon as I can figure how to add tags I will, certainly have not seen anything anywhere in my profile that remotely refers to tags....
