Fluid Question?

Hello All,
I have a 1997 Mercruiser with a 4.3 liter motor, anyhow, it has a reservoir on top the motor which I think is for I/O oil, what type of fluid do I put in this small reservoir? Also the power steering is a wee bit low, should I just put regular power steering in the pump/reservoir?

Merc 90W gear lube goes in the bottle
Dextron Transmission fluid goes in the PS unit
