Anyone use a Fluke multimeter with the inductive probe for checking Rpm? What setting do I use? I just remembered I have the inductive pickup for my FL88 meter. I know this is very accurate on a four stroke but I never tried it on a two stroke. Thanks For the replies

For an outboard CD ignition equipped engine, you will need the small adapter made by Rapair/CDI to get a stable and accurate rpm reading on a Fluke meter.<br />It is a small plug-in that fits between the banana posts on the inductive pickup cable and the meter itself.

The f88 I have has a smooth button, to keep the numbers stable, works great.
