Hi All,

So the old horn is in need of replacement. I would like to install one like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=150305611223

Has anyone installed a horn of this type? I know you have to cut a hole in the hull for the installation. I have never done this, and curious if any of you guys have any pointers that you could provide for the install, or just cutting that hole. I have a dremel with multiple attachments.

Thanks in advance, guys.

place blue painters tape on the hull mark your hole, then you will have to oblong it to get it in. i have installed running lights like that. seal edges with 3M-5200.

Take a look in the resto forum, the Hull extension with pics. There were 2 lights installed, post your question there, those guys are super helpful. There are also a lot of pics, you should be able to see how he did it.

Thank you for the responses. Just out of curiosity, how thick is the fiberglass around the lower part of the bump strip where this will be installed?
