Flushing the motor

Hello I have a 97 120 HP runs great good Motor I was just doing some research on some of the threads on here I was seen a thing on maintenance about flushing the motor I haven't been doing that I would like a little help on Flushing The motor I'm suspecting just flush it with the muffs on it that's right not appreciate any help thx guys

If you use it in fresh water, no need. If you use it in SALT water, hook up to the muffs when you get home and run it for a few minuets.

Running in sand/mud salt water etc??
Then flush.
The motor needs to be brought up to operating temp so the thermostat opens allowing the water to flush the system.
