flushing while in the water?

Hi, Has anyone got any advise or thoughts on flushing a merc 3.0l w/ alpha 1 gen 2 sterndrive whilst moored at sea?

I think this is what you need.

It seems like they are only ment for V engines, not online engines. But plug a few holes and I believe it works anyway.

Otherwise you can perhaps bulid your own....
