this flywheel came off my 70hp merc sn 6105063 was wondering if the magnets are glued in?they appear to be screwed,but the stator i am looking at says not to use with stator with glued magnets.stator is 174-5454k1.
what you have is a CDI stator and it does specify that a flyweel with glue in magnets should NOt be use that is correct take a picture of the magnets on the flywheel and post them on here if you can and someone may be able to tell you more about it. Do not attempt to use the flywheel until you are sure you could burn out major electrical componants (Stator Switchbox Coils)
