I sold my 67 Lightwin and just purchased a 61 Lightwin locally. I replaced the coils (typical) last night. The flywheel nut is 11/16 as opposed to 3/4 like my 67 Lightwin and 53 Sea Kings. I found a torque spec for a 63 of 45 ft lbs but was listed as a 3/4 nut again. The spec on the Sea King is 45 ft lbs. Anyway, I was torquing the 61 nut to 45 ft lbs and I just didn't like the feel of it (was kind of staying at a steady torque, rising very slowly) and stopped at around 33 ft lbs. I wanted to get thoughts from you guys. Does anyone have a torque spec specific for a 61?

The model of the 61 lightwin is 3038 if that matters.

Lightwin torque is 30-40 ft/lbs. Shaft and flywheel tapers must be clean and dry. They are, right?
