Looks like a couple of threaded holes there to put a couple of puller bolts. Take your time, penetrating oil, puller, some heat, and hopefully that thing comes off without a disaster! Good luck and let us know how it goes!:)

and a rap or to with a 2Lb hammer as you crank that puller down.

Boy theres lots of air vain hight on those clintons, a good shave and a static balance and I bet she would crank out another 2.5 hp stock....hey maybe mill the head too hook up a CDI and run her on alchhol and get about 30 more hp for about 60 seconds of her short life....wear lots of safty equipment cause theres bound to be shrapnel flying...

I hope she come off easy for you, I have no doubt it will, justt don't use a cheap harborfrieght puller.

Re: flywheel pics

I suspect that I've seen every easy out ever made, from cheap to expensive, and the only two things they all had in common was that the word easy associated with them is a deliberate deception, and they are all harder alloys than a cobalt high speed steel drill is comfortable with, so when they break off in the hole, you lose the part, or you pay the wire cut EDM man twice what the parts is worth to extract the durned thang. If you'll pardon the pun - screw easy outs, there's no such thing.

Re: flywheel pics

Well Mahty I have had them work well and save the day with a little heat and oil, as I get older I also learn a few more tricks to making it easer, but I have to agree

I have to extract the starter lock out bolt that goes into the water jacket on my model of Eska 15, I need a another one to replace it, you may have seen them, big fat bolt body thin head and same size threads as the water jacket bolts.
