I have a 1977 Chrysler 10hp that has a stubborn flywheel. I have tried a gear puller to no avail. Any suggestion?

Thanks for you consideration.

Andy

Re: flywheel removal

I don't know what kind of puller you're using but if the flywheel has drilled and tapped holes (3 or 4)in the top of it, a crows foot puller and a 1/2" air impact wrench will do the deed.

c/6

Hooty

ajbaermn,If you don't have access to air supply ,you can rent an electric impact and give it a try.

Do a search using "Flywheel removal" You'll find at least 30 posts dealing with this topic in great detail. You'll also learn that you never use a gear puller on a flywheel....
