As mention in another thread, it took 3 patient days to get the flywheel off, and once off, I noticed surface stress cracks.
I don't need a new fly wheel do I?:(
Have a peek and let me know. There are no signs of any stresses on the outside.
Please and thank you.

I don't think you need a new flywheel judging by the photo. Did you have to use a puller or hammer to get it off?

Looks like just some casting marks from when the flywheel was made. Don't look like a problem to me. Good Luck!

Whewww...
Oh yea, I used a puller. Cranked it tight using double wrenches. Sprayed plenty of lube on the hub. Kept cranking as much as possible (usually only 1/4turns or so every 2-3 hours) for the next two days. Tapped the outer edge with a wooden mallet before and after each torquing till it finally freed itself. Started Friday afternoon - came of late Sunday afternoon. Patience was the key.

I agree with the casting marks when manufatcured. I've seen a lot of them over the years like that and shouldn't hurt anything.
