foam..to pour or place sheets

i have a 16 foot starcraft i picked up for dirt cheap so i decided to gut it out. should i pour foam or put in sheets that i cut..thanks matt

Poured foam will probably work best, and give the best flotation. But styrofoam sheets will work too, just not able to fit in all the nooks and crannies easily.

Poured foam has the additional advantage of adding rigidity to the hull when poured after the floor is in place. Just leave plenty of expansion holes for the foam to ooze out of.

Can add this, if you use foam sheets and want to glue them up to make thicker blocks, use Gorilla glue.

Have you plugged all the holes in the hull yet?

I'd be sure all the leaks are fixed before pouring foam.

But I'm told you can get closed cell spray foam sprayed in. Sorta like the system they use for home insulation, but closed cell.

If I decide to do my boat I'm going to look into that.

the hull is in mint conditon i have no holes what so ever, i thank everyone for their help and for the price and becasue i have some availible im just gonna use the closed cell pink waterproof stryfoam boards.

Drain passages? Gorilla Glue? Make sure the wiring in in conduit, in case you need to replace it? Make sure the fuel tank is not sealed in?
Think long about it.

Ps; seal the underside of the deck?

what do i seal the deck with i think im gonna use exterior grade ply maybe 3/4"
