I would like to winterize my 2003 yamaha hpdi motor my self but the manual says doing it like a regular carburated engine I dont want the injectors to get clogged or ruin my oxygen sensor I was told that you can adapt the fogging can to a schrader valve on evinrude motors and i did locate a schrader valve on my yamaha is that the same it seem to be located on top of the oil injector any help on fogging this new motor will be helpful without using a dealership to do the work

hello<br /> the schrader valve you found is for testing the fuel pressure on the medium pressure pump. dont hook a can to it as the lines have 50 psi fuel pressure when the pump is running. remove the airbox and fog away. remove the prop so you can safely place the motor in gear while doing this. that motor does not run on all six when in nuetral so I usually fog it in gear. good luck and remember to add fuel stabilizer.
