I was finishing up the winterization today (ne fla8) and decided to get a benchmark compression on my 5.7 jasper reman, with one hour on it. It was 180 lb. But in the process, I forgot to re-install an adjacet spark plug. How long before the fogging oil that shot out, needs changing, in my left eyeball?

Re: fogging oil

That fogging oil is good stuff. Should keep your vision blurry all winter :p

PS. Doing a compression test after fogging the engine tells you absolutly nothing. Putting oil in a cylinder is how you test to see if low compression is caused by bad rings or not. Since you had oil in the cylinders, you may only THINK you have good rings.

Don, am an ex chevrolet mechanic, the cylinder that I was checking, for a benchmark , had no oil in it; the one next to it did:%
