Folding motors

Trying to pin down some information on folding motors, were they all the same size shaft? Or did the yacthtwinn have a longer shaft? any were there is info on them?<br />thanks

I'm pretty sure they all came as short shafts. The unit wouldn't fold up neatly if it was a long shaft - it would hit the powerhead. It also wouldn't fit in the case that came with the motors. You'd probably have to customize a driveshaft to convert one, as I don't think there was even an extended stub shaft to extend the lower unit on one of those.<br />- Scott
