For All You Mercury Experts!!

I need help removing a 'Universal joint assembly' part no. 60857A2<br /><br />See http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show...br=481&bnbr=12&bdesc=STEERING+HANDLE+ASSEMBLY <br /><br />I've tried everything to remove it and can't see any attachment point. Can someone give me guidence as to how to remove this thing!!

The first thing the Mercsperts will tell you, Wiggy, is that you do not have an outboard.<br /><br />I will move this to the Mercruiser forum for you.<br /><br />Good luck.

Sorry JB.. It is a Mercury Outboard. Not a Mercrusier.<br /><br />Year model and hp would help.
