Not saying it's right but if your dad just died you might also get drunk and try to drive home. He probably isn't in his right state of mind right now.

That was my thoughts when people were hoping the kids would still run the boat. It's a very hard life. If those kids are smart, they will walk away.........

I felt the same way, until I saw he had a suspended license, he's just making it rougher on himself. Oh well, no one accused crab fisherman of being perect.

Mike Rowe is a great guy, he went to my high school.

I am sure you would say the same thing if he hit one of your family members while he was driving home drunk.

Amazing how people get so caught up in the glamorization of these guys. To me, most of these captains seem like real SOBs. The only one that I liked was the one that had the wife onboard and now he is gone. Guess he was just too nice.
