For those going fishing today, so am I. But first I have to scrape the frost off my windshield.
I had frost by 11:30 last night, and this morning, the entire yard is white.

:(

Spent last week in Rockford while going to Taylor school in Rockton Il. Heard the forecast and was glad I was leaving. Thought I would save time and go through Chicago. Duh? I knew I should have gone with my gut and bypassed it. 3 hours bumper to bumper at 15-25 mph just to go fron the northwest side to the southeast. I'll never complain about Atlanta Ga again. Finally it quit raining about Toledo, Ohio. This morning is chilly and friggin rain. I swear that stuff followed me. Gonna rain all dang on day. No Fishin or boat preppin today :(

Got to the lake about a half an hour before sun up and got out on lake about a half hour after sun up. Today was the big Minnesota opener and I have never seen so many people on lake. Temp was a balmy 34 degrees. Caught 1 walleye, 7 bass, 20 crappies and about 15 sunfish. Got to the point where we were playing bumper boats and figured it was time to leave.

Don't feel bad fellers.. The fishing gods ain't been good to us down here either.. Seas are at least 4-6 foot, and now some spotty showers have got cranked up...

I could'nt have gone anyway.. Spent the day re-working the entire fuel system on the boat.. Somehow got a gob of water in the fuel.. The fuel/water seperator did it's job and trapped the water... Problem is, the seperator rusted inside (looked like a science experiment gone wrong)... All the rust decided to go thru the fuel system... Fuel injection don't like rust at all...

Quite a mess..
