Wilk, if he was a democrat I would say your right, but since he is a republican it could be a crap shoot.

Not that any of these alligations(sp?) have anything to do with how he would run State Government.

Re: For those in California

I listened to a couple of call in Radio programs that discussed this issue. Most of the women that called in felt that he probably did do some messing around but question if it was as bad or to the extent of the claims made. They also question the integrity and/or validity of the claims since none of the women felt prompted to report these actions until now, and that there may have been mixed signals being sent by the women that prompted such action. On a more humerous note many felt it would have been a compliment to be "grabbed" by Arnold and wouldn't have minded at all.

So, you want a woman's opinion...I think the recall will pass. I don't think Arnold's actions and being in the media will affect Californian's decisions. Will he do a good job? Who knows? It's a tough call on who will win and who has our best interest at heart. We'll know soon though.  History in the making.

Re: For those in California

I just voted. I voted for Arnold. I wanted to vote for Mcclintock but I don't think he has a shot since most Californians don't care about the real issues or the best person for the job.
I think Arnold lost a couple percentage points in the poll over grope gate but I think he still has a 7-10 point lead over Bustamante.
Mcclintock is third probably 7-10 points behind Bustamante.
The polling centers claim to be busier than usual so I would think voters are turning out to vote Davis out than keep him.
I still plan on moving out of California asap and turning it back to its rightful owner (mexico).

I wish I had a nickle for every time Arnold was probably groped by women...

There is a female LA Times reporter breaking ranks telling how the paper squashed stories about Davis physically abusing female staff members. McClintock told a story how Davis lost total control of himself screaming and used all kinds of foul language at a caucas meeting.

No mater who wins or loses, the LA Times is likely the biggest loser in the end.

Oh yes! I voted. I sent in absentee ballot about a week ago. Voted for recall and voted for Bustamante. Mclintock was a good choice too. He made alot of sense on the debate. I wish I had more time to know more about the candidates, but how do you do that?

He's Lieutenant Governor. That's pretty much it.
 I wish we had more time to get to know more about each candidate and their goals. A March election would have been so much better for me. The media hype turned me off. I voted for the most qualified candidate, to the best of my knowledge, which isn't much sorry to say. :(

I asked the wife her opinion about Arnold and the alledged sexual contacts.
Her points;
1. Why all the accusations one week before the election? Why not a month ago? Very strange and fishy.
2. You can't believe all you hear.
3. Arnold came completely clean, admitted past drug use, past sexual advances and past party life. We aren't interested in voting in saints, or fake, plastic people. Just honest, real people with faults simular to our own.
4. She respected his immediate candidness and admissions.

We both voted to recall and voted our honest conscience and the best person for the job, McClintock.
We refuse to be part of something less. ;)

I voted for Arnold. I wanted to make sure Bustamante didn't get into the office.

McClintock was the better man for ther job (and I am no fan of right wing politics). But now he has good name recognition, He'll be a contender later on.

The Dems in our Assembly and Senate should be running scared. McClintock and Arnold together took about 65 percent of the vote. That means straighten out.

Why do you think he fared so well? Was it his conservative views on the budget or his liberal views for citizens? He seems to be pretty middle of the road between parties. Maybe he's a whole new bread of politician.
