force 120 hp removal of lower unit

I am tring to remove the lower unit on my 1996 force 120hp to change the impeller and i have removed the five bolts but the lower unit will not drop. Is there a cotter pin or drive shaft pin that I need to remove or should it just slide out. Any help would be much appreicated.

After removing the 5 bolts on mine i had to use a rubber mallet to help persuade it to drop. There are no cotter pin's or shaft pin's to worry about.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was hoping that was the case I'll just have to keep trying with the old mallet.
