hello again, my last post I explained my motor blew,. It was a 1990 120hp force # 1208x90b motor. The bottom piston broke on the exhaust side and trashed the rings. the motor had a pop or sneeze at low rpm when cold and would cause it to die, but as it warmed it was better, before it blew it would do that all the time warm or cold. carbs were cleaned and set to manuals specs. new plugs ect. I never checked the timming cause it would fire right up and had never touched the timming, So my thoughts why would it be out. also the plugs and pistons did not look like I had a lean problem. What could this miss be and could it possibly contributed to the piston breaking not burning. I would like to find out why it broke before I rebuild it. by the way when it let go I was at 5400 rpm for about two minutes. Died, locked up, cooled down for 3 minutes fired up and went 14 miles back to the dock @ 4800 rpm. Is this normal?<br />Thanks Ray
