force 125 hp reverse not working

hi every one hopefuly someone can help me with this one. when the engine is set to neutral it look in gear becose the propeller is turning i had hard time to get it to start and foward working but reverse is going foward?? last year before winter i remove the oil from the lower unit and i remove the last screw on the bottom i foud out i sould not remove the screw from the manual. i put it back by playing with the gear arm now i got the problem. please someone help
