Force 125 starting problems

I have a bayliner with a 125hp Force engine, when I start the motor it cranks very slowly for about 3-4 seconds then a 1-2 break then 3-4 again without starting. I have replaced the battery and it is doing the same thing. Help!!

Might be a poor ground on the engine...or the starter needs to be rebuilt or replaced.<br /><br />TMD
