Got both c clips off trim pump trying to get plugs out without any luck... Can a salt water valve body be fixed or am I wasting my time trying to get the valve out????

What's it doing that your working on it?
Drifting down.Usually means a rebuild.
Locking in the up position? Loosen the first or second steel line.
RRitt does them or you can buy them new.
I understand the new isin't that great.
I tried taking the plug out and didn't have much luck.

if you drill the hole then the check valve is ruined. use a utility to clean off paint and debris. if the plug still won't pop out then it is galvanically corroded into place and will not come free without a fight. If such is your case then you have a number of other issues to worry about so that your rebuilt your rebuilt check valves and slider don't end up at bottom of lake. If this is your situation then you should send it to me while rebuilding is still a fairly straightforward task.

Can this happen a pump that don't pump at all... I have two pumps I salvage willing to give one up if I could get one working... Yes I live in Florida everything around here has salt water use.. I even took an old armature hooked too a drill with lines hooked up in the and nothing happen not even a rise of a inch of the motor...

it is possible four or five different ways to have a valve body not pump fluid. As long as all the parts are there and the body is not cracked then it is usually not fatal. Salt water is the worry. It eats up the aluminum from inside the threads.

The weird thing is the fittings came out with out a fight with a line wrench... How you get the valve covers off that are corroded in is the puzzle to me.. Only thing I could thing of air pressure and I don't have a air compressor... ILL send it off see if you can get it apart..

you take out retaining clips and carefully clean way all corrosion and debris. then you run the pump with fluid in it and all the ports plugged. Pressure will force it out. I've had the plugs fly 20-30 feet when they pop out. Running it inside a double thick ziplock is usually a better idea than trying to find the parts after they come flying out. Once out in saltwater you have to pay extra careful attention to all grooves. They have to be clean and dirt free without being wallowed. If not then the thing may fly apart under pressure.

The problem with that is there is no pressure in the pump.. I have not got the right socket to take all the bolts off the top yet.. Hoping to find a ball bearing stuck out of place or worse rusted... Is there a way to plug plug port on top temporarily I am a summing you leave one port by the gears open as one is forward one is reverse??? I have seen pictures just not there yet..

you will have to rebuild the top section to deliver pressure. don't bother with compressed air. the pump delivers 15 - 20 times more. Plus, using compressed air is just downright dangerous.

He question... Is there one place that I should be focusing on in the top of the pump??? Are ball bearings replaceable??? one pump has magnetic washers as spacer on a large spring guessing that's the pressure relief!!!
