Orange on the Forces is usually for the over heat system.
The blue might be the UP wire for the T@T
Is the other wire green? That will be down on the T@T
The red/ blue might be the hot wire??

The colors are
red/blue that’s my hot wire
Purple
Black that’s my ground
Orange
these are coming from my throttle control to my gauges and lights.
Mans do you know if force uses the alternator output to determine tach speed

Year???
The tach gets it's signal from the regulator( I think)

Why? ask about the tach?
Not working?
Depending on the year the colors of the wires change.

It’s 1994 force engine and throttle control and it works just wondering about the ammeter that came with the boat all the wires were cut so I had to rewire all the gauges back to the harness I have all the gauges hooked up and they work but the ammeter is tricking me up

The ammeter is just hooked up to a hot lead.
When the key's turned on it should activate.
The light should be hooked to the wire that turns on the running lights.
Or just wire it to come on when the key's on.
